There are so many people today that want to donate, make a change. When people donate, they are impacted by sounds and visions. Sometimes they blindly donate without witnessing where the money is invested.
To adopt instead of supporting private- and factory breeders is an important choice. There are thousands upon thousands of animals needing a home. Animals that have witnessed devastating cruelty, subdued to tremendous pain and fear. These animals were not asked to be placed on this planet, it was a human decision but it is also a human decision to throw them out on the street or even worse, torture them and leave them to die without ever feeling love nor compassion. Fading in their loneliness.
To improve the welfare of dogs and cats in Asia
A not-for-profit, legally registered charitable organization in Thailand, the United States, Australia, the UK, France, Canada and Holland. Soi Dog helps the homeless, neglected and abused dogs and cats of Asia, works to end the dog meat trade throughout the region, and responds to animal welfare disasters and emergencies. We aim to set an example for the Asian region on how to humanely reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats through spaying and neutering, and to better the lives and living conditions of the stray dogs and feral cats of Asia.
We work for a society that shows respect and empathy for animals
While you are reading this, thousands of animals are killed in slaughterhouses, on fur farms and animal laboratories. We work to raise awareness about the exploitation of animals and encourages a vegan lifestyle. Our vision is a society that shows deference, empathy and respect for animals and humans. It involves a conversion to a vegan food, the abolition of the fur industry, the replacement of animal experiments and entertainment that is not done at the expense of animals.
Giving dogs a second chance at a dignified and loving life
We are working with and advocating a soft approach and we want our adoptive families to do the same. Our goal is not to find a dog to you as an adoptive family but to find the best possible home for the dog. We want to put the dogs in a home where they get their needs met based on the dog's hierarchy of needs, where they will feel important and loved, and as part of the flock, where they have a good, healthy, and happy relationship with the family.
Animals are like humans, sentient beings with interests and needs that must be met
We are a distinct anti-violence movement, because we believe that neither people nor animals should be subjected to violence. We want to build democratic public opinion, influence politics and change attitude to succeed in our goal: a society that does not oppress animals. We operate primarily in Sweden but work with other organizations and networks internationally and within the EU.
Inspiring Compassion. Ending Cruelty
Mercy For Animals is dedicated to preventing cruelty to farmed animals and promoting compassionate food choices and policies. Imagine a world free of cruelty, a world in which we nurture our bodies, minds, and spirits with wholesome, healthy food that is kind to animals and sustainable for our planet. MFA believes that world is possible. In fact, it is inevitable if we work together to elevate humanity to its fullest potential.
Can you imagine eating your best friend
Our aim is to end this cruel practice by campaigning vigorously and raising awareness around the world. We are not a registered charity or a formal organization, neither are we affiliated with one. We are heartbroken by how Man’s best friend is being treated in South Korea. Ending the horrible practice of dog and cat meat consumption is such an uphill struggle. We believe this cannot be accomplished by the activists in South Korea alone. That’s why we campaign in any and every way we can to bring the world’s attention to this important and very urgent issue.
Millions of farm animals do not receive the protection they deserve
We trail live animal transports and post at important border-crossings, when we observe violations we call the police. We inspect livestock markets, farms, and slaughterhouses to check on animal welfare. We expose cases of animal suffering to the authorities, law enforcers, the industry itself and, if necessary, the media, using factual reports, photo, and video material.
